Nigeria came into the game following a narrow 1-0 win against Tunisia in their group opener.
Morocco on the other hand recorded a thrilling 3-2 win against Kenya to start their campaign.
In the clash of group leaders, Nigeria dominated proceedings but were unable to find the breakthrough in the first half.
Coach Aliyu Zubairu rang in the changes at half time as the Flying Eagles struggled to convert.

Tunisia defeated Kenya 3-1, coming back from behind to record their first victory in Group B of the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
After a spectacular play by Hassan Beja, Lawrence Ouma scored from close range to give Kenya the lead in the 38th minute.

Bousnina's well-taken penalty kick gave Tunisia the equalizer well into stoppage time of the first half.
After an inadequate clearance by the East Africans, Omar Ben Ali gave the North Africans the lead with the most straightforward of finishes.
With just a few minutes remaining, Alaaeddine Derbali's incredible right-wing strike completed the victory.
Kenya is in danger of being eliminated early, while Tunisia earned their first maximum points.
Kenya faces Nigeria in need of a victory, while Tunisia concludes Group B action on Wednesday against North African rivals Morocco.
