Moises Caicedo is edging closer to a move to Chelsea after the midfielder reportedly agreed personal terms, clearing the way for the London club to begin negotiations with Brighton over a transfer fee.

According to Football Insider, discussions are taking place between both clubs with Brighton believed to be holding out for well over £80million.
The Blues turned their attention swiftly to Caicedo after failing to land Manuel Urgarte, who is headed to Paris Saint-Germain.

Arsenal held a long standing interest in Caicedo but are believed to have pulled out in the last few hours due to Brighton's askng price and Chelsea's willingness to do a deal as quickly as possible.
Mauricio Pochettino is in the process of reshaping his squad ahead of the new season and Moises Caicedo would represent an outstanding addition.
