Mohammed Bajaber’s Injury Leaves Kenya Police Sweating Ahead of FKF Premier League Title Deciders
Kenya Police are looking at the prospect of winning their first-ever FKF Premier League title but they might have to play the decisive match without one of their main players.
Police need just one point from their remaining two games to be crowned and they could do it on June 23 if they avoid defeat against Shabana in their penultimate match of the season.
However, they are now left sweating over star forward Mohammed Bajaber's availability after he picked an injury while training with the national team.

Bajaber was excluded from Harambee Stars coach Benni McCarthy's team that travelled to Morocco for the upcoming friendly matches against Chad on June 7 and 10.
“Kenya Police FC midfielder Mohammed Bajaber has been ruled out of Harambee Stars’ upcoming friendlies against Chad after sustaining a right thigh injury during training on Tuesday,” Football Kenya Federation said on Tuesday.
“Team doctor Wycliffe Makanga confirmed the injury, ruling Bajaber out of the trip to Morocco. No replacement has been named, with 23 players set to travel tonight. We wish Bajaber a quick and full recovery.”
The extent of Bajaber's injury is still not known but being a muscle injury, it could need weeks to heal, which could rule him out of the final two games of the season.
That would be a significant blow to the law enforcers as the forward, who can play on the wing and behind the main striker, has been key to their title push since he joined from Nairobi City Stars in the midseason transfer window for a reported Ksh1 million.
Bajaber has six goals for Police but his playmaking abilities are also unmatched, having created a number of chances for his team-mates, and his club will hope that he is fit and available when the league resumes.
