LaLiga club Getafe are reportedly closing in on a deal to take Manchester United outcast Mason Greenwood on a season-long loan.
Greenwood close to Getafe move
United confirmed on August 21 that they would no longer be moving forward with their plans to bring Greenwood back into the first team and planned to work with the 21-year-old to find a new club.

According to the Athletic, there is expected to be no loan fee involved and all parties are believed to be working extra hard to get a deal over the line ahead of the deadline.
Greenwood has not played for Man United since January 2022 and until last week, was subject to an internal investigation by the club despite the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) deciding to stop its investigation into charges of attempted rape and assault.
