The 29-year-old Italian sprinter and former jumper blazed his name to the world scene when he surprisingly won the Tokyo 2020 Olympic 100m title in an European Record of 9.80s.
In addition, he won the 60m European indoor title in 2021 and silver medal in 2023, as well as the 2022 world indoor and the 2022 European 100m titles, and was a member of the gold medal-winning 4 × 100m Italian team at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Jacobs is also the 60m European Record holder at 6.41s and despite an injury-ravaged 2023 season, he still helped his country to a silver-medal winning performance in the 4x100m relays at the World Championships in Budapest.
With the 2024 season set to be highly competitive, Jacobs will be gunning to have a successful season and defend his Olympic 100m title in Paris.
