Manchester United to rival Chelsea for 20-year-old star who blocked Nigeria from 2026 World Cup
Noah Sadiki has made a significant impact since joining Sunderland from Belgian club Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in a £15 million transfer last July.
Sadiki has quickly become a cornerstone of the Black Cats' midfield, starting all 15 of their Premier League matches this season.
According to Sky Sport Switzerland, both Chelsea and Manchester United have made contact regarding a potential move for the 20-year-old Congolese midfielder, ahead of the January transfer window.
The report suggests that Chelsea's management "acted immediately" to inquire about Sadiki's asking price after his impressive performance in Sunderland's 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge on October 25.

United reportedly view the DR Congo international as a more affordable alternative to Brighton's Carlos Baleba, who was valued at over £100 million during the summer.
Sunderland, however, hold a strong position in any potential negotiations, as Sadiki is under a five-year contract signed upon his arrival.
