Manchester United: Red Devils' opening bid for Andre Onana rejected by Inter Milan
Manchester United are desperately trying to recruit a new goalkeeper with David De Gea out of contract and doubts surrounding Dean Henderson who spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest.
Inter reject Man United's Onana offer
According to 90min, United's offer for Onana is understood to be worth €40m plus €5m add-ons, however, Inter have refused to accept it.
In comparison to United's valuation of the 27-year-old, who impressed with his performances at the end of last season - particularly in the Champions League final against Manchester City, Inter value the Cameroonian shot-stopper at €60m.
The 27-year-old is pushing for the move and has turned down Saudi Arabia's interest in the hopes of securing a transfer to the Premier League.
Erik ten Hag wants a swift resolution before the club returns for pre-season in a few days. Onana is perfect with the ball at his feet and this is a crucial requirement for Ten Hag, and De Gea's distribution left a lot to be desired.
The Red Devils are expected to continue negotiations and believe Inter's stance will soften in the next week or so.
