Manchester United legend's son set to earn ₦92 million per year at Old Trafford

The famous Manchester United Rooney name could soon be back on a long-term contract at Old Trafford.

Kai Rooney, son of Manchester United icon Wayne Rooney, is on the verge of securing a new deal with the club as his rise through the academy continues to gather momentum.

Manchester United have reportedly offered Kai Rooney a new scholarship deal that could see the 16-year-old earn around ₦92 million per year, equivalent to £50,000 annually.

According to reports, Kai is part of a “very strong” group of 14 youngsters being lined up for new deals, underlining how highly the club rates the current crop of academy talent.
