Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has chosen his best Premier League player in a swift question-and-answer session.
The left-back is with the England squad for the European Championship but it has not stopped him from engaging in other activities besides training and match preparation.
Shaw opted for Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard ahead of teammate Bruno Fernandes and Manchester City stars Phil Foden, Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland when asked about the league’s finest performer.

The Man United man then picked Sir Alex Ferguson as the competition’s best-ever manager, owing to the Scotsman’s Premier League record of 13 titles before retirement.
What comes next for Shaw?
The defender’s injury-hit year did not prevent him from making Gareth Southgate’s England squad for Euro 2024.
Shaw could play in some capacity as the Three Lions aim to navigate Group C comprising Denmark, Serbia and Slovenia.
