Leroy Sane joins Man Utd? Bayern winger 'close to' Old Trafford move after Bayern contract decision

Manchester United are pushing for Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane, whose contract at the Bavarian giants expires in the summer.

Bayern are trying to agree a new deal but so far, no agreement has been reached and according to reports, the winger's camp have reached out to potential suitors in the Premier League about a possible move.

Manchester United are keen on adding more creativity and goal threat to their attack, and Sane would not only be an excellent addition, but he would also add versatility and a winning mentality.

The two-time Premier League winner can play on either side of the striker and has registered 13 goals and six assists this season, despite not always being first choice.

The fact that he could be joining as a free agent appeals to INEOS, and the lack of a transfer fee could offset his huge wages.

However, it will be interesting to see if Sane chooses to join United due to his strong ties to city rivals Manchester City.
