Leeds United fans will be buzzing after beating Chelsea in mid-week, and the visit of Liverpool is certainly no longer as scary as it used to be.

Reds boss Arne Slot is under growing pressure, and another defeat this weekend could set alarm bells ringing.

Leeds went into their midweek clash against Chelsea in poor shape, having won just one of their previous eight games (D1, L6), but they produced a fine display to win 3-1.

Home advantage offers them a chance to put some daylight between themselves and the bottom three, especially given that they have only lost two of their last 14 matches on their own turf (W8, D4), a statistic that will fill manager Daniel Farke with confidence.

Meanwhile, Liverpool were unable to back up their 2-0 victory over West Ham last week, as another dull performance by Arne Slot’s side meant they had to come from behind to rescue a 1-1 draw at home to Sunderland.

Farke should be working with an identical squad for the visit of Liverpool, only missing the Daniel James, who remains out with a thigh problem and Sean Longstaff for the visit of the champions.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will hope to have Conor Bradley back from a muscular injury, but Jeremie Frimpong (thigh) and Giovanni Leoni (ACL) will not be involved at Elland Road. Mohamed Salah is expected to be restored to the starting lineup.
