LeBron James responds to the unexpected news of Jürgen Klopp leaving Liverpool FC
In 2011, LeBron James and business partner Maverick Carter acquired a minority investment in Liverpool FC.
Although that ownership was only 2% at the time, they used it to invest in Fenway Sports Group, the company that also owns the Boston Red Sox.980s.
Ever since LeBron and all the Liverpool FC members have worked to bring the Merseyside club back to its previous level of success from the 1970s and 1980s.
Part of that plan included bringing in Jürgen Klopp, the German manager who leaves with a Premier League and UEFA Champions League title after nine seasons.
He also left behind certain memories that will never fade. At that time, Anfield hosted some of the world's top football matches.
Of course, following such a prosperous period, everyone connected to the club's ownership was going to thank Jürgen Klopp.

A collection of managers stand out as the front-runners to succeed Jürgen Klopp; they are a diverse group with unique qualities.
The individuals in question are Peter Bosz of PSV Eindhoven, Hansi Flick, a free agent, and Robert De Zerbi, the manager of Brighton & Hove Albion.
But Xabi Alonso is by far the option that the fans seem to want as the successor.
