Kyle Walker’s wife confirms they are expecting baby girl following media fury over pregnancy leak

Pregnant Annie Kilner has hit out at the media in a strongly worded Instagram statement after the gender of her unborn child was leaked and widely reported, prompting her to take control and announce it herself.

The 33-year-old former model, who is expecting her fifth child with England defender Kyle Walker, expressed clear fury over the unauthorised disclosure of such personal news.

In a lengthy Instagram Story posted on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 19, to her 80,000 followers, Annie shared her full statement:

“After more totally misjudged requests to print the gender of our unborn child, moving forward I’m taking control.

“My pregnancy was announced without our consent, without confirmation, and even after written assurances it wouldn’t happen again.

“This isn’t or shouldn’t be news for anyone else to announce.. and once again isn’t something we wanted to put all over the news,” she said before confirming baby number five.

“We’re delighted to be expecting our baby girl. I won’t be entertaining speculation or drama around such a personal, private and happy moment for me and my family!”

The post marks a happy milestone for the couple, who already share four sons: Roman, Riaan, Reign and Rezon.

Annie and Kyle’s relationship has been marked by a slew of controversies and scandals.

The couple who are childhood sweethearts, married in a private ceremony at Mottram Hall in Cheshire in November 2021, where the family lives in their £3.5million home.

Their relationship has weathered public storms, including Kyle’s past fling with influencer Lauryn Goodman.

However, sources close to the pair have stressed their commitment to putting family first.

Amid earlier separation rumours, another source dismissed claims Annie was staying for financial reasons as “absolute nonsense and pure speculation.”

Walker is back in England having spent the second half of the season last year with AC Milan to escape the drama surrounding his baby mama and former mistress Lauryn Goodman.

The Man City legend signed for Burnley in the summer of 2025, ending his eight-year spell with the Etihad outfit. The signing reunited Walker with Burnley manager Scott Parker, his former teammate at Tottenham Hotspur.
