Juventus vs Udinese: Okoye's stellar performance not enough as Old Lady dominate visitors
Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye made a startling nine saves, but was unable to prevent his Udinese side from falling 3-1 against Juventus in Serie A.
Juventus scored penalties at the start and end of the game through Dusan Vlahovic and Kenan Yildiz respectively, while Federico Gatti also scored for the Old Lady, with Nicolo Zaniolo's first half strike proving to be no more than a consolation
Juventus vs Udinese: How it happened
The match began explosively, with Dusan Vlahovic winning and converting a penalty inside the opening three minutes to give Juve an early lead.
The Serbian striker thought he had doubled his tally midway through the first half, only for the offside flag to deny him.
Udinese gradually grew into the game, and goalkeeper Okoye produced two superb saves to keep his team alive; first stopping Filip Kostic and then denying Vlahovic again before the break.
Those saves proved vital, as Nicolo Zaniolo equalised on the stroke of halftime, curling home a loose ball after Juve failed to clear their lines.
The second half saw Juventus dominate possession but struggle to break down a resilient Udinese side. Their persistence paid off when Federico Gatti rose highest to head home from Andrea Cambiaso’s recycled corner.

Despite Okoye’s continued brilliance, including a fingertip save and a near-miss off the post from Kenan Yıldız, Udinese couldn’t find a late equaliser.
Yıldız sealed the result with a late penalty, giving Juventus a 3-1 victory and pushing them firmly back into the race for European qualification.
