Serie A giants Juventus have reportedly contacted Chelsea to register interest in midfielder Cesare Casadei.
The 20-year-old recently shone in the u-20 World Cup for Italy. Although finishing as the losing finalist to Uruguay, the young midfielder won the Golden Boot for his seven goals, and the Golden Ball as the best player in the tournament.
He is registered to the Chelsea u-21 team after signing from Inter's youth team last summer, and he spent six months on loan at Reading in the Championship.
Casadei on Juve's radar
According to a report by GetfootballNewsItaly, the Old Lady are trying to bring the talented midfielder back to Italian football.
Juve are expected to table a formal offer soon, after contacting the Blues hours ago to inquire about the player as they appreciate his profile.
It remains to be seen if Chelsea will be open to selling the midfielder after his outstanding tournament in Argentina.
Negotiations between both clubs over a possible move for the forward started earlier this week and have now taken a huge step.
