I've known him for two years — Chelsea boss Maresca opens up on signing African talent
Enzo Maresca's Chelsea remain in the market for attacking reinforcements ahead of next season.
The Blues have been active in the transfer market, securing Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, and Joao Pedro, with plans for further signings, including a centre-back and possibly another forward to bolster Maresca’s squad for the upcoming season.
Chelsea aim to maintain a deep attacking roster, potentially targeting nine forwards, which has fueled a summer overhaul.
However, adding another attacker could mean parting ways with current players, and Noni Madueke is the most probable departure, with Arsenal showing interest in the 23-year-old.
Reports suggest Chelsea are keen on West Ham’s Muhammed Kudus, with the Hammers open to a £60m cash deal, rejecting player-swap offers.

Maresca addressed the Kudus speculation, saying, “Mohammed is a West Ham player, he is not our player so I can’t say anything.
