It gave me an extra boost - Arokodare opens up on training with Osimhen, Ndidi and Boniface
Eric Chelle called Arokodare up for his first national team appearance during the Super Eagles 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
The 24-year-old debuted for the Super Eagles against the Wasps, coming off the bench for roughly thirteen minutes of play.
He also came in as a substitute on his home debut and played a part in the Super Eagles' goal despite the disappointing 1-1 draw against Zimbabwe in Uyo.

Arokodare attributed his elevated motivation and mentality to training alongside elite players during his tenure with the national team.
According to voetbalbelgie.be, Arokodare said, "I walk around with a different feeling now. That selection gave me an extra boost.
"Training with players like Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi or Victor Boniface, they are 'high level' players. I am very happy that I have already had that experience.”
Tolu scored his eighteenth league goal of the season against KAA Gent on Sunday, contributing to a 4-0 victory for his team.
Arokodare currently leads the top scorer chart in the Jupiler Pro League and will be looking to claim the award at the end of the season.
