Israel Adesanya: Nigerian UFC star celebrates UFC 5 Deluxe Edition cover athlete

Israel Adesanya was seen as a rising star when he appeared on the cover of UFC 4 three years ago.

Adesanya is once again featured on the cover of UFC 5 after becoming probably the best fighter in the world on a pound-for-pound basis.

Alexander Volkanovski and Valentina Shevchenko will be representing the regular edition cover athletes for UFC 5, according to EA Sports.

While Adesanya known as the Stylebender will feature on the cover of the deluxe edition.

Adesanya is set to return to the Octagon against Sean Strickland in Australia

Each new installment of EA Sports' UFC series has been released two years after the first one, which debuted in 2014.

However, this is the greatest time elapsed between UFC video games in the series' history as the last one was released in August 2020.

EA Sports announced Adesanya as the cover athlete of the UFC 5 Deluxe edition on their official social media platforms.

Along with the announcement and cover photo was a message that said, "The Main Character is here 🕹️

"Stylebender has returned as your #UFC5 Deluxe Edition cover athlete 🏹."

Adesanya responded in the comment section with 'Player one' to go with a joystick.

Adesanya lands the UFC 5 cover athlete ahead of the release of his new movie titled The Style Bender.

The initial release of "EA UFC 5," will be available later this year according to sources.

Adesanya already appeared on "EA UFC 4" with Jorge Masvidal, therefore this will be his second appearance on the game's cover.
