Newcastle United reportedly have no interest in selling Alexander Isak to Liverpool, multiple reports have suggested.

Alongside Isak, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike is also on Liverpool’s radar, but no official contact has been made.

Newcastle to keep Isak, bid for prolific Premier League forward

According to GIVEMESPORT, Newcastle, who are also interested in signing Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt, have found a Premier League alternative in case they miss out on the Bundesliga forward, who is also a Liverpool target.

The report states that the Magpies have identified Brentford forward Yoane Wissa as a second option, with the intention of playing alongside Isak and not replacing the forward. 

Wissa scored 19 Premier League goals for Brentford in 2024-25, the 28-year-old's most productive season in English football.
