Is Achraf Hakimi dating Imaan Hammam? PSG star sparks romance rumours with Dutch model 2 years his senior

Achraf Hakimi and Imaan Hammam have sparked dating rumours after being spotted together once again—this time in New York. 

The Morocco international, 26, and the Dutch fashion model, 28, were seen in newly surfaced images that have reignited talk of a potential romance.

Hammam, who is also of Moroccan descent has appeared on Vogue no less than 23 times in her caree.

This marks the third time the pair have been seen in the same location in recent weeks. 

Just last month, Hammam was present in Munich for the UEFA Champions League final, where she shared snaps from the stadium to her social media stories. 

She was reportedly there in support of Hakimi, who featured for PSG.

And only days ago, Hammam was also seen cheering from the stands as PSG defeated Real Madrid on July 9 at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, booking a spot in the FIFA Club World Cup final.

While neither Hakimi nor Hammam has confirmed a romantic relationship, their long-standing friendship dates back to their joint Vogue Arabia cover in March 2025.

The duo not only posed together but also interviewed each other for the feature.

During the shoot, Hakimi opened up about his proudest moment:

“My greatest accomplishment, beyond the titles and personal achievements, was being able to tell my parents they no longer had to work.

"That moment meant everything to me—to show them their sacrifices paid off, and that I could support them while pursuing my passion. That’s my most meaningful achievement of all.”

In return, Imaan shared:

“There are so many! Walking for Victoria’s Secret was a huge moment for me. Being on the cover of Vogue, especially with my own natural hair, was something I’ll always be proud of because it was about being my authentic self.

"But honestly, every time I see a young girl telling me I’ve inspired her, that’s the most rewarding feeling of all.”

Since that feature, both have publicly described each other as “very good friends,” but fans aren’t convinced their relationship is strictly platonic.

The new wave of romance rumours comes more than a year after Hakimi’s widely-publicized split from Spanish actress Hiba Abouk in 2023.

The couple had been married since 2020 and share two sons together. 

Their divorce drew significant media attention following Hakimi’s legal issues, which surfaced around the same time.

However, the Atlas Lions star opened up on the messy situation this year, sharing that his previous marriage taught him lessons before revealing that he’s open to love again.

“When you are in a relationship, you tolerate many things that you can’t tolerate with other people. I learned that by myself, “ he told Anas Bukhash, host of the YouTube programme ABTalks.

“When I was married, I tolerated many things I won’t tolerate now…and I wondered, why did I tolerate these things?”

“That [marriage] taught me a lot and made me stronger, and also made me know what I want. And I know now that if I entered a relationship I can handle it very well!”

No official comment has been made by either Hakimi or Hammam about the nature of their current relationship.

But with the sightings piling up, fans are watching closely.
