The talented Kenyan international defender was absent in Big Bullets' previous outing against Mighty Mukuru Wanderers due to a leg fracture and has yet to return to training.

Big Bullets coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, expressed his disappointment over the absence of Senaji and two other key players, Mkwate and Singo, in the clash against Mighty Mukuru Wanderers, which resulted in a goalless draw.

"Senaji and Mkwate suffered fractures to their legs, while Singo was down with a viral infection, with Okafor recovering from his ankle injury," said Pasuwa.

The absence of Senaji, a crucial player in Big Bullets' lineup, will be a significant blow for the team.

The former Tusker FC defender possesses exceptional skills and plays an integral role in creating opportunities and orchestrating attacks.

His absence will undoubtedly be felt as Big Bullets seek to secure victory against Yanga, an important friendly match ahead of their participation in this year's CAF Champions League.

The upcoming encounter between Nyasa Big Bullets and Yanga holds additional significance as it coincides with Malawi's 59th Anniversary of Independence.

The clash marked the second meeting between Nyasa Big Bullets and Yanga, as they previously clashed in the Cecafa Kagame Cup two years ago in Tanzania.

Yanga, a formidable team in African football, recently reached the final of the CAF Confederations Cup, narrowly missing out on the prestigious title to USM Alger of Algeria.

Despite a valiant effort, Yanga lost the two-legged final on the away goals rule after a 2-2 aggregate draw.

While Clyde Senaji's absence will be keenly felt by Nyasa Big Bullets, the team remains determined to put on a spirited performance against Yanga.

The friendly match will serve as an excellent platform for Big Bullets to showcase their talent, build team chemistry, and gain valuable experience ahead of their Champions League campaign.
