‘I'm very much in love with her’ - Kate Abdo’s boyfriend Malik plans to walk down the aisle with CBS host

Kate Abdo and Malik have been together for some time and have gone out for several romantic outings.

Abdo’s boyfriend recently warned CBS co-star Jamie Carragher after calling out his girlfriend for not being faithful.

In a candid interview, Scott revealed his plans to marry Abdo and addressed the awkward exchange that occurred during a CBS broadcast.

Scott expressed his commitment to Abdo, stating, as reported by the Sun, "I'm very much in love with her and I plan on marrying her." 

He emphasized the importance of respecting his partner and not tolerating behaviour that upsets her.

Scott also spoke about the recent incident with Carragher and how Abdo reacted to the situation. "It was a very minute thing, but her being irritated by it a little bit is what really got to me," Scott said. 

"Him just saying it and being that guy who always makes those picking at you jokes wasn't really a big deal to me at all. It's only a big deal if Kate is upset."

Carragher had apologized for his comments, and Scott acknowledged this gesture, saying, "One thing you can't do is knock a man who admits he was wrong. In that regard, I have high respect for him."

However, Scott also warned Carragher about the potential consequences of his actions, stating, "If he doesn't pick up my call, then I'll show up in a physical manner so we can talk like men, so that's not something you should continue to do."

He noted that while incidents like this might be part of the job, this was the first time Carragher's comments had potentially affected a couple's chemistry.
