‘I'll take that’ - Super Eagles star Iheanacho reacts to reduced rating in new EA Sports FC 26 game
Following a disappointing spell at Middlesbrough, Iheanacho made a move to Scottish champions Celtic on a free transfer this summer.
The forward has made an impressive start to his career in Scotland, contributing one goal and one assist in just two appearances across all competitions.
Despite his strong early form, the forward's rating was downgraded from last year's edition, likely reflecting his difficult spells at Sevilla and Middlesbrough last season.
Iheanacho reacts to EA rating
In a video posted on Celtic's official YouTube channel, the former Leicester City striker admitted he had expected a higher rating.
The Nigerian international received a 72 overall rating in the newly released EA Sports FC 26 video game.
He appeared stunned when presented with his new card, responding hesitantly, "I, I, yeah, fair enough, I'll take that."
The new rating is a drop from his 74 score in EA Sports FC 25 to a 72 overall rating in the new video game.
The 28-year-old will be hoping his strong start at Celtic continues, giving him a chance to earn an improved rating in the next edition of the popular football video game.
