Gaziantep featured Nigerian striker David Okereke who was in action for 62 minutes before being substituted for Ghana's Emmanuel Boateng.
Sowe finally broke the deadlock in the 77th minute assisted by Nigerian forward Ibrahim Olawoyin.
As Gaziantep pushed for an equalizer, Rizespor capitalized on the counter in the 94th minute, with Ibrahim Olawoyin sealing the victory this time assisted by Sowe.
Olawoyin now has four goals in the league as he makes his case for the Super Eagles squad ahead of the next international break.
