I need MORE MONEY - Anthony Edward's ex Ayesha Howards seeks higher maintenance fee amid child support drama

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is embroiled in another legal battle with his former partner, Ayesha Howard, this time concerning custody and child support for their daughter.

The 24-year-old guard had previously agreed to a lump sum payment of $1.08 million in support, granting full custody of the child to his former partner.

The agreement also included a non-disparagement clause prohibiting public statements that could damage his image.

However, the case has resurfaced with new demands from the 39-year-old.

According to US Weekly, she is seeking an additional lump sum of $500,000, an annual payment of $55,000, and monthly support to consider the matter settled.

Per the outlet, Howard also demands a public apology from Edwards for statements she considered offensive during the previous legal proceedings.

Edwards' former partner claims she has already spent approximately $100,000 of the initial sum and that the remaining funds are insufficient to cover their daughter's needs until she reaches adulthood.

During a hearing in May, Howard further fanned the flames by claiming that Edwards "does not want anything to do with" their daughter and has "never" met her.

The legal battle has also included a prior point of contention over a non-disparagement clause and restrictions on posting photos of their child, which Howard opposed and which Edwards' team reportedly removed.

However, the removal of those clauses appears to have paved the way for the current, even more significant demands.

The situation remains delicate, with Edwards' legal team now asking the court to intervene to force Howard's signature on the custody agreement, without the new stipulations, to finally bring the legal process to a close.
