Uzundurukan, the editor-in-chief of leading Turkish publication Fotomac said that Al Hilal will immediately end their pursuit of the Nigerian striker should they manage to land Victor Osimhen.

Citing Osimhen's big wage demands, Premier League clubs have cooled their interest in the Nigerian. He has a big offer from Al Hilal, and Galatasaray, who do not have to worry about the 40% tax obtainable in England also believe they can match the Nigerian’s salary demands.

Uzundurukan analysed the transfer situation revealing that the Saudi option would leave the table should Al Hilal manage to land Ronaldo from their rivals Al Nassr.

“Cristiano Ronaldo's contract with Al-Nassr has ended. He could go to Al-Hilal, if he goes here, Osimhen's transfer will be shelved,” Uzundurukan said.

“In fact, European teams have not been able to reach those figures as much as Galatasaray. He could not get the serious offer he wanted from the Champions League teams. Moreover, there is no tax system in Türkiye. He will earn more. Morata wants to leave as long as he is not in the first 11.”

Ronaldo to Al Hilal

As Pulse Sports reported, Ronaldo's Al Nassr contract expires this month, and he has stalled on renewal despite having an offer on the table. He is reportedly frustrated with the lack of success at the club in his two-and-a-half years there and wants to seek greener pastures.

He has been linked with a sensational move to Al Hilal which would allow him to play in the maiden Club World Cup tournament. He has also been linked with Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca who would also play in the tournament in America.
