Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has reportedly informed the club of his wish to transfer to Galatasaray, according to A Spor commentator Levent Tüzemen.
The Turkish giants, fresh off securing Victor Osimhen from Napoli in a record-breaking deal, are now pursuing the Brazilian goalkeeper.
Tüzemen, speaking on the transfer developments, noted that Ederson prefers a move to Turkey over offers from Saudi Arabia.
“Galatasaray is continuing its talks with Manchester City. Ederson, like Osimhen, has told Manchester City that he wants to play for Galatasaray,” Tüzemen said (via Haber Sarikirmizi).
“Manchester City has also signed a goalkeeper. If nothing goes wrong with Galatasaray, there is a 51 per cent chance Ederson will join the team.
Manchester City recently signed James Trafford from Burnley, who is expected to compete with and potentially succeed Ederson.
The 31-year-old Brazilian has been linked with a departure from the Premier League champions for the past two seasons.
