He wants the same salary as Osimhen — Turkish expert slams Galatasaray target
Ugur Karakullukçu has claimed that Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is seeking a salary matching Victor Osimhen’s at Galatasaray after winning every trophy with PSG. Karakullukcu made these remarks while discussing the club’s goalkeeper transfer plans on his YouTube channel.
Following the official announcement of Osimhen as their new signing this week, Galatasaray are looking to bolster their goalkeeping options.
The Turkish giants have shown interest in Manchester City’s Ederson this summer. Osimhen is set to undergo his medical with Galatasaray on Thursday.
“Donnarumma is a man who left Milan, where he came through the youth academy, in limbo,” Karakullukçu stated (via Habersarikirmizi).
“He won every trophy at PSG and is demanding a new contract. Now he’s demanding the same salary as Victor Osimhen at Galatasaray: 25 million euros. He’s also demanding a bonus.
“Galatasaray can’t make a profit from such a goalkeeper. You’ve already pushed the envelope with Osimhen. If you also sign Donnarumma, you will be spending under €250 million. Is that necessary? Not at Galatasaray."
Donnarumma is likely to leave Paris this summer after failing to agree to a new contract with the treble winners, and there are several clubs in Europe keen to sign the elite shot-stopper.
Meanwhile, Osimhen is set to complete his permanent move to the Turkish giants after completing a medical set for Thursday.
