‘He should remain on bench’ - Angry Manchester City Fans Criticize Jack Grealish's Performance

Manchester City supporters have expressed strong criticism towards Jack Grealish following his performance in the recent Champions League game against Red Star Belgrade. 

Despite City securing a 3-2 victory on Wednesday night, December 13, Grealish's display was deemed unsatisfactory by fans.

Manchester City achieved a perfect finish in their Champions League group stage, with goals contributed by debutant Micah Hamilton, Oscar Bobb, and a late penalty by Kalvin Phillips. 

The match, held in Serbia, saw City's heavily rotated squad manage a win despite conceding two goals. Notably, manager Pep Guardiola substituted Grealish at halftime, possibly due to an injury.

In contrast to the team's young stars, Grealish struggled to make a significant impact on the game. He failed to attempt a single shot and was limited to only 28 touches and 13 passes.

The 27-year-old's performance did not sit well with fans, who voiced their opinions on social media.

 Many supporters suggested that Grealish's lacklustre performance warrants a demotion to the bench, with some even asserting that Hamilton is a better option for Guardiola's squad.
