Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt have been frustrated in their attempts to sign Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof after Erik ten Hag made it clear that he wants to keep him at Old Trafford.
Manchester United consider Lindelof Untouchable
During the latter stages of the season, Lindelof played got a chance to impress after Lisandro Martinez sustained a serious metatarsal injury.
The Swedish defender took the opportunity brilliantly, raising his game to new levels alongside the likes of Raphael Varane and Luke Shaw, helping United secure a third-place finish in the Premier League and reach the FA Cup final.
According to German publication BILD, Ten Hag blocked the defender’s potential exit in January and has done so again, insisting the 28-year-old is not for sale.
Erik ten Hag has never changed position on Victor Lindelöf — he’s untouchable. Same message sent to Atlético & Inter last January still valid now. 🔴⛔️ #MUFC

More on Lindelof
Lindelof's contract at United runs until 2024 but the Red Devils have the option to extend it for a further 12 months and if he continues to play as well as he has in recent weeks, he could remain at Old Trafford even beyond his current contract.
