What Harry Kane said

Barcelona’s interest in Kane is one of the top transfer stories of the past week. Ahead of the Bavarians' Champions League clash against Arsenal, he was asked about the links to Catalonia.

He explained that he had yet to be contracted by any non-Bayern party pertaining to his future and that he is happy at his current place of employment.

“I haven't had any contact with anyone. I feel very comfortable, even though we haven't yet discussed my situation with Bayern,” he said, per Fabrizio Romano. “So no rush... I’m really happy in Munich. It’s very unlikely that anything will change after this season.”

Barcelona's interest

As Pulse Sports reported, Barcelona have made the former Tottenham Hotspur star their leading striker transfer target for the summer. While he has a contract with Bayern Munich until 2027, he is rumoured to have a €65 million release clause in his contract.

This has triggered transfer speculations to the Premier League and LALIGA, where Barcelona are said to be keen on landing the 2018 World Cup top scorer.
