Haaland beats Henry, Salah, and Shearer to become fastest to 100 Premier League goals
Erling Haaland has written his name into Premier League history yet again, smashing a long-standing record once held by the great Alan Shearer.
The Manchester City striker has now become the fastest player to reach 100 Premier League goals, a milestone he achieved with astonishing speed and efficiency.
Haaland storms into Premier League history books
Manchester City’s Norwegian superstar reached the landmark with a thumping first-time left-footed finish in the 17th minute of City’s clash against Fulham at Craven Cottage to bring up his century in just 111 Premier League appearances.
This breathtaking pace puts him well ahead of some of the league’s most iconic names, outperforming Alan Shearer, who needed 124 matches, Harry Kane who required 141, Sergio Agüero on 147 games, Thierry Henry on 160, and Mohamed Salah on 162.

The 25-year-old had been expected to reach the milestone sooner, but after drawing blanks against Newcastle United and Leeds United, but made no mistake once the opportunity came again.
His father, Alf-Inge Haaland, watched proudly from the stands as his son delivered another unforgettable moment in a City shirt.
Premier League immortality beckons for Haaland
With this record broken, the conversation now naturally shifts toward the all-time Premier League scoring chart.
Shearer still sits comfortably at the summit with 260 goals, but with Haaland already scoring at an unprecedented rate and contracted to Manchester City until 2034, the possibility of him chasing down that tally is no longer far-fetched.
However, interest from European giants Barcelona and Real Madrid continues to hover in the background, keeping the Cityzens on their toes.
Whether he stays at City for the entire duration of his contract will depend on several factors, but for now, the Premier League remains the perfect stage for his astonishing output.
What cannot be debated is that Haaland has already placed himself in elite company, outperforming legends whose reputations were built over many seasons of excellence
