AC Milan legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic has praised Guardiola and Mourinho that the coaches changed Football.
The Swedish icon made the revelation during a live session at the Festival dello Sport event in Trento, where he discussed his fiery career, his relationships with managers, and his transition from player to director at Milan.
What Zlatan said
The outspoken former Sweden star noted how the two coaches are influential in football.
“Guardiola and Mourinho changed football. I was fortunate that both wanted me in their teams, he said
He added, “Guardiola was just starting out, very tactical and detail-oriented. Mourinho was all mentality, he got inside your head, controlled you, and made you believe you were unstoppable. Both were winners, but in very different ways.”
Zlatan famously worked under both men, Guardiola at Barcelona and Mourinho at Inter Milan and later Manchester United.
