Going Nowhere! Cristiano Ronaldo stays put in Saudi Arabia as training photos QUASH escape reports
Despite widespread speculation triggered by his private jet's departure to Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo remains in Riyadh, continuing his recovery and training with Al Nassr amid the ongoing Middle East conflict.
The 41-year-old Portuguese star was spotted in fresh training photos released by the club, dispelling reports that he had fled the region with his family. While the jet's flight on March 2, 2026, fuelled rumours, Ronaldo appears to be focusing on treatment for a muscle injury sustained in Al Nassr's recent 3-1 win over Al Fahya.
Al Nassr shared a carousel of images on Instagram from their training session at "House of Nassr," with the first photo prominently featuring Ronaldo in action, undergoing assessment and treatment. The post, captioned " #دار_النصر House of Nassr ," shows the team resuming work, with Ronaldo visible in navy training gear alongside teammates and coaches.
While Ronaldo's location is clear, questions remain about his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their five children, with no confirmation on whether they were aboard the jet that flew to Madrid.
Rodriguez recently used the jet for a trip to Milan, suggesting it may have been for other purposes amid the chaos.
The conflict, including drone strikes on the US Embassy in Riyadh, has led to postponed AFC Champions League matches, but domestic fixtures continue
