The 19-year-old proved to be the catalyst for Erik Ten Hag’s United as they returned to winning ways after a run of four matches across competitions.
United had failed to score in each of the last four matches while the Argentine wonderkid had also gone 1027 minutes without scoring.
At the break, the Red Devils looked to be headed to another defeat after two set-piece goals from John McGinn and Leander Dendoncker gave Aston Villa what looked a comfortable 2-0 lead.
However, an excellent second half saw the Devils fight with Garnacho inspiring them with two goals before fellow youngster Rasmus Hojlund netted the decisive winner for his first goal for the club in the Premier League.

After the match, the two-goal hero, Garnacho, expressed his happiness with the performance and win.
He also praised his teammates, Marcus Rashford, who set up his first goal, and match-winner Hojlund for stepping up and helping to prove critics wrong.
"It’s a great feeling, we are Manchester United, we never give up, that’s how we got the win we kept going," an ecstatic Garnacho said after the match according to the Premier League.
"It’s a great feeling to win. Too many people have been talking about our strikers, but Rashford gets the assist and Rasmus scored so we have proved some people wrong today," he added.
It was a brilliant display from the United youngster, who has emerged as one of the club’s potent players in attack. Garnacho was later replaced by Mejbri Hannibal, another graduate of United’s famous Academy.
Garbacho has now scored three goals and assisted one in 11 Premier League starts for Manchester United this season.
