Galatasaray confirm Champions League winner is on his way to rival Victor Osimhen

Turkish giants Galatasaray have announced that Alvaro Morata is en route to Istanbul to finalise his transfer from AC Milan.

The Spanish striker is expected to join Galatasaray as part of a major overhaul of the club's attacking department under manager Sergio Conceicao.

Galatasaray shared footage of Morata on his flight to Turkiye, where he greeted the club's supporters with a warm "hello".

The move marks a swift exit for Morata from AC Milan, just six months after he joined the Rossoneri.

Morata's departure paves the way for Santiago Gimenez to join AC Milan from Feyenoord.

The Mexican striker is reportedly on the ground and ready to sign his contract, completing a transfer that will see Morata make way.
