The 32-year-old will be an excellent addition to Marco Silva's Fulham side and could be a direct replacement for wantaway striker Alexandar Mitrovic who has joined the club's pre-season tour but wants to sign for Al Hilal.
Fulham are making moves in the transfer window as they aim to push for Europe next season.
They are also close to agreeing a deal to sign Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu, and are on the verge of bringing in Ajax for defender Calvin Bassey.
Speaking about Mitrovic on Saturday, Silva said: “Let’s talk clearly about the situation of Mitrovic. It’s not the ideal scenario, I have to tell you of course.
“I have spoken to Mitro already, he knows my opinion. I’m here to give my best for all my players to protect them in everything I can.”
Jimenez played 20 times across all competitions for Wolves last season, scoring just three goals.
