Frank Onyeka: Super Eagles star celebrates assist in Brentford's EFL Cup win
Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Frank Onyeka was in action as Brentford FC secured a 2-0 win against AFC Bournemouth in the second round of the EFL Cup.
The Nigerian defensive midfielder who has returned to Brentford following a loan spell in Germany last season with FC Augsburg earned a spot in the starting lineup for the EFL Cup clash.

Onyeka is now a rotation piece at Brentford under interim manager Keith Andrews.
Despite nine changes to the starting XI, the Bees took the lead through Fabio Carvalho in the 34th minute and went to the break ahead.
The second goal came in the 65th minute, with Onyeka bagging an assist for Igor Thiago to finish off a swift move.
Onyeka was taken out of the game for Yegor Yarmolyuk in the 86th minute with applause from Brentford fans t the Vitality Stadium.
He took to social media to post photos to celebrate another victory to start the season.
Along with the post was a message that said, "Another step forward in the cup. Come On You Bees 🐝"
This win marks Brentford’s back-to-back victories as they defeated Aston Villa in the Premier League last weekend.
Onyeka will aim to return to action when Brentford travel to face Sunderland in their next Premier League clash.
