The Flying Eagles returned to Nigeria on Monday

The Flying Eagles defeated Tunisia to win the bronze medal in Egypt.

The Flying Eagles have returned to Nigeria after winning the bronze medal at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Ladan Bosso's boys defeated Tunisia's Young Carthage Eagles 4-0 at the Cairo International Stadium.

Tunisia, Nigeria, Senegal, and The Gambia will represent Africa at the FIFA U-20 World Cup later this year.

Sports Minister Commends Flying Eagles

The Sports Minister, Sunday Dare has commended the Flying Eagles for their performance in Egypt.

The Flying Eagles won their first medal at the U-20 AFCON since 2015

He admonished the team to learn from the mistakes they made in Egypt.

Solomon Agbalaka and Augustine Njoku made it into the tournament’s best XI, as Flying Eagles also claimed the Fair Play award.
