Nigeria's Flying Eagles ran riot over Tunisia's Young Carthage Eagles on Friday to pick up bronze at the ongoing 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The 3rd/4th-placed fixture at the Cairo International Stadium saw the Flying Eagles put four past their opponents in the tightly contested encounter.
Despite the outcome of the game, both Tunisia and Nigeria will alongside finalists Senegal and The Gambia, represent Africa at the FIFA U-20 World Cup later this year.
Muhammad give Flying Eagles early start in 4-0 win
The Young Carthage Eagles' dreams of making the U-20 AFCON final were ended by Senegal in a 3-0 defeat at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia, while Nigeria were handed their disappointment in a 1-0 defeat to The Gambia in Cairo.
Defeats, however, did not prevent both sides from dreaming of a medal finish in the 12-team competition.
But it was Tunisia's dream that suffered a puncture as the Flying Eagles opened the scoring as early as the ninth minute following a finish from Ibrahim Muhammad.

The rest of the half saw the Flying Eagles treat fans to some good football, holding their slim lead until the interval.
Sunday score twice as Flying Eagles nick bronze
The second half, like the first, started brightly for Nigeria, with Ahmed Abdullahi adding a second for the Flying Eagles with a superb effort in the 46th minute.
Two minutes later, it was 3-0 for Nigeria as Jude Sunday broke through the whole Tunisia defence before smashing his attempt into the back of the net.
Another partnership between Samson Lawal and Sunday saw the latter complete his brace with another stunning goal, giving Ladan Bosso's side a 4-0 victory.
Attention will now turn to Saturday's final where Senegal will take on The Gambia, with both sides seeking a first-ever continental title at this level.
