Fern, Harry Maguire’s wife, post daughter’s emotional message to dad following Copenhagen winner

The England defender has struggled in recent years for Man United, having failed to live up to their expectations.

However, In last night's 1-0 Champions League victory over Copenhagen, Maguire scored the game-winning goal with a header.

Maguire's goal was followed up with a four-word message from his daughter which his wife posted on social media.

The 30-year-old had been having a difficult time on the field before a recent stretch of outstanding play.

According to reports from the Sun, Fern, his wife, was the happiest person in the world after his goal, which may now kickstart United's season.

Fern, who married the English footballer in 2022, posted a sweet message from Maguire's kid on Instagram. "Well done daddy goal."

She then captioned the post, "My hands shaking I'm over the moon!!! "Nobody deserves this more than you. We love you so much."

Meanwhile, after the game, Maguire was ecstatic at the reaction he got from an emotional Old Trafford.

He said, "It is amazing. When you are not on your game it gets picked up, but I am really proud and pleased how I have acted over this six to 12 months.

"I have been given an opportunity and I want to help the team and get the club back to where it should be."

Maguire will be looking to build on his recent form as Man United prepare to face their rivals, Man City this weekend.
