Lamine Yamal hit a landmark moment in his young career as Barcelona cruised to a 3-0 win over Real Oviedo on Sunday.

The teenage sensation reached 100 career goal contributions, doing so quicker than both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Barcelona strengthened their grip on top spot in La Liga with a comfortable victory over bottom-side Real Oviedo on matchday 21.

Once again, Yamal was at the heart of everything, sealing the win with a stunning third goal late in the contest.

The 18-year-old produced an acrobatic finish that combined elements of a scissor kick and a backheel, a moment of brilliance that quickly went viral across Spain.

It was another reminder of his flair, confidence and ability to deliver in big moments, even at such a young age. His performance helped underline why Barcelona continue to build their attacking future around him.

Yamal’s spectacular strike was extra special because it marked his 100th goal contribution for club and country.

He now boasts 82 contributions for Barcelona (36 goals and 46 assists) alongside 18 for Spain, made up of six goals and 12 assists. In total, he reached the milestone in just 155 matches.

That achievement puts him ahead of two modern greats. Lionel Messi needed 159 games to reach 100 goal contributions, while Cristiano Ronaldo took 236.

Both legends were 21 at the time, but Yamal has done it before turning 19, making him one of the fastest and youngest players in history to hit the mark.
