Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has vehemently denied recent allegations surrounding the creation of a best-eleven lineup.

Mourinho, renowned for leading numerous top players, has come out to debunk the spread of what he has now referred to as fake news.

According to several reports, the Portuguese football coach reportedly named eleven of the best players he has ever managed.  

Having worked with some of the players in the world, Mourinho listed the players in the latest episode of the Obi One Podcast, per Daily Mail.

Set up in a 4-3-3 formation, former Chelsea skipper John Terry, Cristiano Ronaldo and Eden Hazard led the team, with no players from his former teams Manchester United and Tottenham.

In a passionate post on his Instagram, Mourinho, the current AS Roma man, has now rubbished the report.

Mourinho noted on his socials that he has managed so many great players and will never name an eleven because he respects his players.

“Fake news: JM’s best eleven, JM picks his best eleven… Fake news,” Mourinho posted on his page with his picture.

Despite Mourinho’s comments, it was interesting to note the absence of some players like Nigeria’s Mikel Obi, on whose podcast he reportedly made the claims.
