Manchester United silence Man City in FA Cup final

In what could be Erik ten Hag's last game as Manchester United manager, his men put on a counter-attacking clinic to silence Pep Guardiola's Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

City dominated possession as always but failed to make any headway. United, set up in a low block, continued to try balls down the line for the pacey Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho.

A long ball from Diogo Dalot created confusion in the Man City defence as Stefan Ortega and Josko Gvardiol had a mix-up that allowed Garnacho to tap into an empty net.

One goal soon became two, as a simple switch from Rashford to Garnacho opened up the City defence.

Garnacho moved inside and fed Bruno Fernandes, who played a simple ball to Mainoo for the finish.

Jeremy Doku scored a consolation for City but this was United's day.
