Ex-Premier League star tips Semenyo to play for Real Madrid
Watford legend Troy Deeney has joined the Antoine Semenyo hype train, stating that the Ghana international could one day play for Real Madrid should he continue on his current trajectory.
Semenyo established himself as one of the top players in the Premier League last season, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists.

He has raised his performance level this season, with six goals in nine games so far, with many analysts tagging him as the best left winger in the division.
What Deeney said
In his show on talkSPORT, Deeney is said to have tagged Semenyo as one of the “unsung heroes” of the Premier League and one of the top performers. However, he expressed doubts that the Ghanaian can maintain his current level.
For Deeney, if Semenyo consistently plays as he has this season, the sky is the limit, tipping him to one day play for Spanish giants Real Madrid.
“I just don’t know if Semenyo can keep it up—do you know what I mean?” Deeney said, per Goal. “If he does, then my God—he’ll probably end up playing for Real Madrid. But I think he’s very good, very powerful, and very direct. I just don’t know whether he’ll keep it up.”
