Ex-Liverpool star blasts Tottenham manager Postecoglou after Chelsea defeat

Jamie Carragher has slammed Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou after their 4-3 defeat to Chelsea.

The Liverpool legend was unimpressed with Postecoglou's insistence on maintaining the team's attacking style, even after conceding four goals.

"The manager keeps telling us he won’t change. I can’t imagine any manager when I played for Liverpool, after conceding four goals, saying that we played well," Carragher said.

Spurs had started the game brightly, taking a 2-0 lead, but they were unable to maintain their momentum. Chelsea fought back strongly, scoring four goals to secure a win.

Postecoglou's positive outlook and commitment to attacking football have been admired by many. However, his refusal to adjust the team's tactics in the face of adversity has drawn criticism from some pundits.

With injuries affecting key players like Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, Spurs are facing a challenging period.

Spurs will play the Rangers away in the Europa League on Thursday, followed by a league match against Southampton on Sunday.
