“Everything” - Lando Norris declares why he’s smitten with Portuguese actress girlfriend Magui Corceiro
Lando Norris has broken silence over his relationship with Portuguese actress and model Margarida “Magui” Corceiro after years of speculation over their on-off status.
What’s the gossip?
In a new interview with British Vogue, Norris, 25, confirmed that though the pair first met some years ago, their romance only truly began “until more recently.”
When asked what he finds special about Corceiro, 22, Norris replied:
“Everything. She’s someone I can very much be myself with. Very down to earth and she lives quite a crazy life as well. It’s nice when we can both just rent a boat for the day or go home together and chill.”
The British driver also admitted a lighthearted aim in their life together: “The biggest thing I’m trying to change is to get her into golf. She hates golf.”
Aware that public figures often face scrutiny, Norris also spoke candidly about how both he and Corceiro deal with criticism and negative commentary online.
“I don’t think anyone can look at a bad comment from someone and move on like nothing’s ever happened. You don’t want to see bad things written about anyone. But she’s quite wise to all of it,” Lando told Vogue.
He continued: “It affects me. A lot less than it did. I pay a lot less attention to it now.”
Corceiro first grabbed the headlines in 2023 amid rumours of her relationship with Norris when she was seen driving a Fiat with Norris in the back seat in Monaco.
The sighting followed her long-term romance with former Atletico and Chelsea forward João Félix, which had reportedly lasted from 2019 until their split in 2023.
Over the past two years, Corceiro has been spotted frequently at Formula One races cheering on Norris and sharing intimate moments like kisses in public.
What next for Lando Norris?
As the pair settle into what Norris describes as a very real relationship, his focus turns now to the track.
Norris’ next race is the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which takes place in Baku from Sept. 19th - 21st.
The schedule for the weekend is already confirmed: practice sessions begin on Friday Sept. 19, qualifying on Saturday Sept. 20, and the main Grand Prix race is set for Sunday Sept. 21.
For Norris, this represents another chance to score strong points in his championship battle against his teammate Oscar Piasri, who currently leads the drivers standings so far in the 2025 season.
