The controversial new competition that permits the use of performance-enhancing drugs, is having more visibility, signaling the event's growing ability to attract elite talent despite widespread criticism.

Initially dismissed by many as a fringe concept, the Enhanced Games—which operates without drug testing—is rapidly gaining traction. The signing of Kerley, a former 100m world champion, gave the league its first major headliner. Now, with the addition of Fall, the stage is set for a dramatic and contentious showdown.

On Thursday, the organization announced that Fall would be its first French competitor. He is expected to line up against Kerley in the men's 100-meter dash, a race already generating significant buzz.

Fall is currently serving an 18-month ban for an anti-doping rule violation, which is not a barrier to entry for the Enhanced Games. "I have dedicated my life to running, and I believe in pushing the boundaries of what is possible," Fall stated in a press release. "The Enhanced Games offer a stage where athletes can explore their full potential, free from restrictions that stifle peak performance."

The former French national champion's career has been marked by doping-related controversies. He received a nine-month suspension after testing positive for the stimulant heptaminol in July 2023. Before that ban concluded, he was hit with a separate 18-month suspension in September 2024 for missing three drug tests within a 12-month period. These sanctions effectively erased his results from mid-2022 through 2024.

With his current ban not expiring until July 2026, the inaugural Enhanced Games on May 24, 2026, offers Fall an opportunity to compete sooner. Maximilian Martin, CEO of the Enhanced Games, celebrated the signing as a significant step forward.

"Signing Mouhamadou Fall is a huge milestone, bringing the first French athlete into the fold," Martin said. "His caliber as a national champion and international relay competitor continues to raise the level of our 100m race, which we are committed to making the fastest in history."
