Dortmund plan to extend Youssoufa Moukoko's contract
Borussia Dortmund will reportedly talk to Youssoufa Moukoko's agent this week about a new contract.
The 18-year-old's contract expires this summer, and he is already eligible to negotiate with foreign clubs.
Reports have linked him with a move to Barcelona in the summer, but Dortmund have initiated a final attempt to convince the striker to stay.
Dortmund want to keep Moukoko
German publication BILD reports that Dortmund's sporting director Sebastian Kehl and general manager Hans-Joachim Watzke want Moukoko to continue.
The player's agent, Patrick Williams, is reportedly in Marbella, where Dortmund are currently in a training camp, to hold talks over the striker's future.
BILD reports that Dortmund are offering a four-year contract with an option to extend for one more year.
He would receive a £10 million signing bonus and an annual salary of £6 million, which amounts to around £115,000 weekly.
His agent is expected to pocket 10 per cent of the salary as commission if he can get his client to agree to the deal.
The reports suggest Moukoko is in for a better financial package elsewhere.
Moukoko for Dortmund
Moukoko is a Dortmund academy graduate and one of the most acclaimed talents the club has produced.
He became the youngest player to ever debut for the club in 2020, at just 16 years old.
At only 18, Moukoko is already a German international and was a member of Germany's squad in Qatar.
Moukoko has scored 11 goals in 59 games for Dortmund, providing eight assists.
