‘Don't worry, I will be back’ - Palmer sends message to fans following dip in form
On Tuesday night, the Blues defeated the Premier League's bottom team Southampton 4-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Pedro Neto, Marc Cucurella, Christopher Nkunku, and Levi Colwill all scored as Enzo Maresca's team outperformed the Saints.
However, despite the win, it was Palmer who caught the headline after missing three big chances in the game.
Plamer’s message to fans
Following his poor performance, the attacking midfielder has stated on social media that he "will be back" to his best.
The Chelsea midfielder posted on his Instagram story, "Well done, lads, +3. Don't worry; I will be back."
Palmer has emerged as one of the Premier League's most remarkable performers, although this decline still occurs.
Since moving from Manchester City to Chelsea in the summer of 2023, he has scored 39 goals and provided 21 assists.
However, he has failed to score or assist in any of his previous seven appearances across all competitions.
